To allow law enforcement to follow their protocols related to the swatting event, LMS will be dismissing early. All students and staff are safe. We appreciate the quick, thorough and professional response from law enforcement. Mr. Earley and the entire LMS team are set for an orderly dismissal. This is an unusual situation and we ask that you follow your existing pick up plans, as we are unable to modify at this time. Students who typically ride the bus will be placed in the bus. Additional information will be share as it becomes available. Thank you for your support and understanding. -Mr. Hartling

Good morning, ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE SAFE A short while ago we received a swatting call (fake threat to illicit disruption and police response) targeting LMS. Based on internet tracking this call came from out of State. Out of an abundance of caution and at the direction of LPD students were moved temporarily to the GFS gym. We also have additional support at all our schools to ensure that everyone feels safe. Law-enforcement is moving through their protocols related to this situation. We will share more information as it becomes available. Again, all students are safe and we asked that you did not come to campus so as not to impede and any response from our law-enforcement partners. Mr. Hartling
