Recycling Bash. For the week of April 22nd, NHS will be encouraging students and faculty to recycle! Please bring empty canned or plastic drink containers to a table during lunch and opt-in to enter our recycling competition. The top contributors, those who donate the most recyclable bottles by the end of the week, will receive prizes based on the collective amount raised through the deposits. Updates will be posted on Instagram @ledyardnhs periodically! Please contact [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.

Voter Registration. The League of Women Voters will be at LHS next Monday, April 22, to help register students and staff to vote. Students must be 18 years old by November 5, 2024 and must bring either a driver's license or Social Security Card for identification to verify their age. Once registered, the student may be entered into a raffle drawing to win two tickets to a Connecticut Sun home game for the 2024 WNBA regular season. The student can choose which game!

Capstone Update. Fewer than two dozen seniors remain who have not yet passed their Capstone Projects. If that's you, stop procrastinating! It's not going to finish itself. Stop by the Main Office to make an appointment with Mrs. Fagan. Stop by the library to make an appointment with Mrs. Smith. Ask a trusted teacher if you can work with them during their prep or after school.

Ronald McDonald House Soda Tab Collection.
Our soda tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House to support a local family in need is ongoing! Whether you're enjoying a soda during lunch or at home, don't forget to save those tabs! Drop them off in the designated collection bin located in the main office and cafeteria and let's make a big impact together. Every tab counts towards providing crucial support and care for families during tough times. Thank you for your generosity and compassion! If you have any questions, talk to Mrs. Ballestrini in room 204
