Dear Family Member,

          Earlier in the year, I inquired about what topics you would like to discuss at our Parent Advisory Committee meetings. The response to that inquiry was very small; I am sure, in part, because we are all so busy. Instead of the Parent Advisory Committee, I will be instituting a monthly “Director’s Dialogue”.

          This “Director’s Dialogue” will be an opportunity for you to meet with me to discuss issues of importance to your child and family. This discussion may identify topics of interest which, when shared with other families, may require a larger group gathering to discuss. I realize that you already have the means to share your feelings and information with individual case managers and teams – the PPT and the IEP. I would like an opportunity to have the same means and I see “Director’s Dialogue” as accomplishing that goal.

          I will be available on the following dates to meet with you:
