THANK YOU SPONSORS!!!
A big thank you goes out to our sponsors. We will be recognizing them in several other ways. The boys know this is a once in a life time opportunity and are so grateful for their support.

Closing ceremonies after t-shirt trading
GF Day 5: The boys woke up at the crack of dawn and traveled by car to Nashville. On the flight to Hartford the boys enjoyed a most incredible view the whole way, as it was a magical day over the northeast. The reward for the last, tired, hour drive home was seeing family. Many thanks to our supporters! (photos)
GF Day 4: The boys watched presentations by other teams, explored the convention center and its DI activities, traded pins, bought gifts, played in the fountain, traded t-shirts with the likes of Korea, China and Poland, swam and attended closing ceremonies. The boys did not place, so there are no trophies to bring home. One of our sponsors wrote in a card "...give it your best shot! You're already a Winner," which they certainly did. Most importantly, they enjoyed learning, creating, solving problems and working together. (photos)

Opening ceremonies
GF Day 3: The boys spent the morning repairing and preparing props, testing the car and rehearsing. They presented their Central Challenge just before 1:00. Everything went smoothly. The reward was plenty of food and an afternoon in the fountain and pool. The evening hours consisted of more pin trading, which gave them opportunities to meet teams from all over the world. (photos)
GF Day 2: The boys competed in the Instant Challenge. This is a secret challenge done behind closed doors, so no pictures are available. Other than that, they unpacked props, traded pins, swam and prepared for tomorrow, the big day! (photos)
GF Day 1: We made it to Tennessee! We spent the day traveling to Global Finals. We had fun getting to know other teams. Then, we attended opening ceremonies. It was a long fun day...the boys were up for 21 hours! (photos)

Team EATLARG
Connecticut State Champions
Challenge: Obstacles, of Course!
Level: Elementary
Destination ImagiNation is an international program where teams of children solve challenges, promoting teamwork, creativity and problem solving skills. This team designed and built a remote control car from scratch that overcomes obstacles. They wrote and presented a skit and integrated it with the vehicle’s timed challenge of overcoming as many obstacles as possible. To get an idea of the complexities of the challenge, read the Obstacles, Of Course! rules.
