How to Save a Microsoft Works Spreadsheet in Excel 97/2003 Format
1. Create your spreadsheet.

2. Click ‘File’ in the upper left hand corner, then click ‘Save As’.

3. Enter the name you wish to save the file as in the ‘File name:’ box.

4. Click the arrow to the right of the ‘Save as type:’ box.

5. Click ‘Excel 97-2003 (*.xls)’ line.

6. Enter the name you wish to save the file as in the ‘File name:’ box, then click ‘Save’.
