• Ski Club •

The LHS ski club organizes snowboard and ski trips each year. We fill a coach bus with students, teachers, parents and friends. On a Saturday we travel to Vermont or New Hampshire. We leave at 5:00 am and return by 8:00 pm. Beginners are welcome and lessons and rentals are available.

This year we went on 2 trips. Our January 23rd trip was a great success, as we enjoyed perfect weather and conditions at Stratton. Our second trip was on March 13 to Mt. Snow. It was an odd day, as we hit the slopes early and enjoyed a few runs, but then came the freezing rain. We all headed in to warm up and eat. Suddenly it cleared and we all went back out for a fantastic afternoon on the slope. We had the mountain to ourselves.
