• Teens Advancing Student Knowledge (TASK) •

Teens Advancing Student Knowledge is dedicated to the issues of abuse of alcohol, other drugs, violence and gambling. Through education and peer support we can help to prevent much pain and suffering. Our Activity Period meetings consist of discussion of pertinent issues and planning activities. Some of these activities include Red Ribbon Week, Homecoming and Prom Promise non-drinking pledges, Grim Reaper Day, a Mock Funeral, and a Mock Crash. Meetings with area schools, visits to other Ledyard schools and maintaining our bulletin board are other activities that round out a busy agenda.
