• Freedom Riders •

This interschool club, sponsored by LEARN, matches up high school students with a regional elementary school class to learn about the history of Civil Rights. High school students serve as mentors and facilitators to these young students in one kickoff and one culminating all-day workshop plus several half-day workshops during the school year. Students will help plan and run activities during the workshops. There is no cost to the participants and transportation will be provided by LEARN. This club will meet on Tuesdays after school. Make a difference in a young person’s life by being a positive role model.
