Description
High school students facilitate this district-wide club for upper elementary and middle school students. Now in its fourth year, students participate in a variety of improv games and activities, culminating with an improv show open to the public.

Why Improv?
Improv is not just for actors. Many corporations train their employees using improvisation techniques. Wouldn’t you want your employees to develop their ability to listen, create, speak in public, use instinct, collaborate, follow rules, think “outside the box,” resolve conflicts, project their voice, solve problems in “real time,” be a team player, etc.? Obviously, these skills help one succeed in education and life, too. With self-confidence and creative thinking, the sky is the limit!
