World Cultures: A Global Mosaic

Travel Buddy - send a blank video cassette to the American Embassy School in one of the regions listed, ask them to video tape a typical days events given the climate.

Newspaper latitude and longitude Ð find place in newspaper use atlas to find the spot on map, indicate latitude and longitude pin to article.

Create a timeline of Natural Disasters of the 20th Century; discuss how each major catastrophe impacted that immediate region and the world.
